With temperatures set to drop over the coming weeks, please take extra care when out and about.

🌨 Road Safety:

• Allow extra time for your journeys.

• Drive slowly and leave plenty of space between you and the vehicle in front.

• Be mindful of black ice, especially early mornings and late evenings.

• Clear all windows of ice and snow before setting off.

🏠 Keeping Safe at Home:

• Check that paths, steps and driveways are clear to avoid slips.

• Look out for vulnerable neighbours or relatives who may need support.

• Make sure pets are kept warm and safe.

🚶‍♂️ If You’re Walking:

• Wear appropriate footwear with good grip.

• Stick to well-lit paths and avoid icy shortcuts.
